6 week countdown!

34 weeks - not feeling great and I clearly show how I
feel on my face!
I cannot believe last Thursday was 34 weeks!! I also didn't realize I hadn't posted a progression photo since 28, so hopefully it's clear that he's in there, now! ;-) I wasn't feeling well this day, but had to do our update photos. At least there is a smile in one of them! Our little guy is definitely getting bigger and stronger, but I had a check-up on Thursday and I am still measuring on the small end of average. The doctor doesn't seem concerned, but we are scheduled for a growth ultrasound on Friday just to make sure that everything is progressing and he is growing how he should be. It will be good to get to see his face again - I've missed seeing him on that screen! Everything else is right on track and we will be starting the weekly monitoring check-ups in no time!
Greg made me laugh since I looked so thrilled in
the side shot!  My belly button looks off-centered!  And
who knew I had a mole inside my belly button!?!?

Work is starting to get stressful because they want me to have all of my paperwork completed through the end of the year before I leave...ahhh!! Plus I still have to figure out how to lesson plan for 10 weeks!! February's calendar is packed, so we'll see how it all plays out! I am lucky to have a very supportive administration!

We had our baby shower on January 14th. We went a little unconventional and held a co-ed baby shower which turned out phenomenally! Mom and Shilo did such an amazing day make this day totally perfect! The day was filled with yard games (horseshoes, bags and of course beer pong!) and the food was fantastic!! A few people made it from out of town (even Dad, who probably shouldn't have!! ;-)) which was awesome! We definitely missed those that weren't able to make it, but we can't wait for you to meet Benjamin! There were so many great photos taken, so here are a selected few, but it hardly does justice for what a great time we all had!

The nursery is all ready now, too!  Everything is all washed - sheets are on and clothes are hung...we're just waiting on him!

The generosity of our family and friends still amazes me! The amount of love that Benjamin will be surrounded by when he finally makes his appearance is overwhelming and brings me to tears...I don't say often enough how thankful I am for all of the love and support we receive!

The nursery!

I have been feeling great and growing larger every day!  He seems to be doing well, too...he has been so active lately.  His movements are getting stronger and more defined.  He especially likes to wiggle around about 2:00 am!!  I find myself sitting on the couch just watching my belly - it's crazy to see the movements occur, but I LOVE it!!!

So since we haven't found a new home yet, we decided it's time to get the nursery ready here. We are using one of our old guest rooms and redesigning it to fit baby boy Winget! It is crazy how quickly time is going, but the nursery is looking good so far!!

The pre.

Brew decided he was going to be an awesome helper by
laying on me while I was trying to tape...ha!

The boys, hard at work!

But they did such a great job!!

Looking more like a nursery!

He is definitely going to be a reader...

And a Bears fan!!!

During all the free time I have (ha!) I have been trying my hand at making a scrapbook to document baby.  I not only have a new time consuming frustration, but also a new found respect for scrapbookers!  It feels so good as I get the pages done, but this is my first go at this sort of thing.  Here a few of the first pages that I have complete.  Open to suggestions..... :)
