The stomach flu has hit our house hard. It has not been fun for any of us, but as Ben naps now, I am finally getting a chance to catch up here. I think where I struggle is I feel like I have to finish a post. I know there's a save button. I know I can return later. But I started it, and I can't quit until it's done! :-) Let's see if I can beat Ben's wake up time! (Okay, so Ben didn't nap for very long and I didn't finish the post. In returning to it, I guess it is not that bad and I may post more often if I worked in spurts. However, I know I may have a problem and almost obsessed about when I was going to find time to finish. Baby steps...)
A lot has been going on - I had 2 weeks off over Christmas. Though I really don't feel like it. It was a very busy time, but it was amazing! On December 23rd, we went to see a Bears game with the Winget clan, including Ivette's family...what a great time!! We had GrandmaDee and GrandpaDon, Papa and Uncle J all here for Ben's first Christmas. It was awesome. We got a lot done around the house and it is slowly becoming what we want it to be! Going back to work was not easy, but surprisingly not as terrible as I anticipated. I really do miss my students when I'm not with them and it was nice to see their little faces again!
I hope all of you had a great holiday time - I got to speak to many of you, but if not, know you were in our thoughts! Now onto the picture recap.....
